The Community Foundation offers several workshops each year on popular topics such as grant writing, marketing, development, and governance.

 

We would like to congratulate the 14 nonprofit organizations that recently completed our CommUnity workshops. Through a grant from the Gay & Lesbian Fund for Colorado, the Community Foundation’s CommUnity series provided 14 Weld County nonprofit agencies with techniques to improve their capacity in areas such as programs, operations, governance and fundraising to be better positioned to serve today’s and tomorrow’s communities. Both board members and the agencies executive directors or key staff attended the sessions. The final workshop, which was open to any nonprofit staff member, board member or volunteer, was attended by 75 community members to learn more about fundraising. We are proud to be able to provide these opportunities to strengthen our area nonprofits.
